Plain terms for a small app. Using SideMount means you accept them.
Your licence
Buying SideMount gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to run it on up to 3 Macs you use. You can move a licence between machines: remove it from one inside the app, and that activation is free again.
A subscription runs until you cancel it. A lifetime licence does not expire. Either way, you may not resell the licence, share the key publicly, or work around the licence check.
The trial
Seven days, the whole app, no card. When it ends the app keeps running but will not mount a phone until you buy a licence.
What we promise
That SideMount does what this site says it does, and that if it does not, you can have your money back within fourteen days. See refunds.
What we cannot promise
SideMount is provided as it is. It talks to hardware and to two operating systems we do not control, and either can change under it. We cannot promise it works with every phone, every cable, or every future version of macOS or Android.
Keep backups. SideMount can delete files on your phone, because that is what a volume in Finder is for. As with any tool that writes to storage, we are not liable for lost data. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid.
Ending it
You can stop using SideMount at any time and cancel a subscription from your receipt. We can end a licence that is being resold or abused, and we would refund the unused part if we did.
Other people's names
Android is a trademark of Google LLC. Mac, macOS and Finder are trademarks of Apple Inc. SideMount is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either company.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes. A change never applies backwards to a purchase you have already made.
